I’ll be the first to admit that I am no pioneer – see, I have been eyeing this delightful concoction for some time now, on such blogs as Kath Eats Real Food (KERF) -but thought to myself – it’s winter, and it’s cold – will I want something cold to eat for breakfast?
The answer came pretty easily for me yesterday, when we awoke to our thermostat going a little haywire – it read ’70′ but it definitely felt tropical! So, I busted out the Magic Bullet, threw in the smoothie standbys (almond milk, banana, ice) then greened it up with two handfuls of baby spinach and added the fruit we had on hand – canned crushed pineapple, and let it whirl! Mmmm! Topped it off with my ABSOLUTE favorite cereal of the moment from TJ’s and voila!
Total yum to the max - in fact, I made one for hubs too – and he loved it! I even dreamed about it last night so here I am, just having had the exact same thing for breakfast again this morning…still grinning!
