I’ve blogged about them in the past, so it only makes sense that they’d find themselves in the blog again sometime.
Who am I talking about?
Why, Blink-182 of course.
It was just a week and half ago…hubs and I were driving the long and desolate highway to the Bonneville Salt Flats during our trip to Utah. The sky was the brightest and lightest blue I had ever seen, and despite the remote location, we were getting crystal clear reception of X96, and though I had never heard this song before, as soon as the vocals came on, I knew it was my beloved Tom, Mark and Travis.
A quick Google search (yes, I somehow had 4 bars of 3G!) proved to me that the song had been released several months ago – I felt behind the times, but still happy to hear the familiar sound.
So I hope you enjoy, too! And while we’re at it, why not share some more salt flat pictures?!
Pretty nuts, right!? It almost looks like snow…but it’s kinda flakey and soft…
Visiting the Salt Flats felt like visiting another planet – it really was wild! Funny thing was, I had never heard of the place before – hubs was shocked – but then again, before last September, he had never heard of the La Brea tar pits, which I insisted we visit last fall.
These United States sure do have lots of crazy places to visit! I am forever amazed at the diversity of beauty on this continent…and planet.
