My name is Krissy and this is my blog! I live in Charlottesville, VA with my darling hubby and enjoy utilizing social media to make/keep in touch with friends, learn about new places and stay connected with the world around me.
I started out writing this particular blog as an offshot of my wedding blog (we planned our DIY wedding in Orlando, Florida for under $5K, including honeymoon!) and has morphed into a place where I talk about some of my most favorite things, including RUNNING, DISNEY, GRAD SCHOOL and other pursuits…in fact, I even author a second blog specifically about RUNNING + DISNEY here >> Outrunning the Monorail.

Krissy – Love your blog. I was just messaging back and forth with you on Twitter as Magical Travel. When I read your blog and learned you were a former cast member, I thought I’d say hello as myself. I worked for Disney too from 1989 – 2001 – in a bunch of different roles. At the Studios I worked in attractions, tickets and then Guest Relations. And then I worked in Special Events at both the studios and Epcot. I’ve run the 2012 Disney Princess 1/2 and the 2013 WDW 1/2 – but you definitely run much more often than I do!
