30 Day Shred

It has held my intrigue for more than a year now, but it is finally in my possession…


You see, the treadmill in the condo gym is BROKEN (only operates at two speeds: 0.5 and 9!) and even though I called it in (TWICE) I have no ETA of when it might be back in commission!  Blargh!  And yes, for those who might be curious – I do enjoy running outdoors but it’s not safe or advisable to do so at my normal workout time (5:30 AM) so that was my MWF routine for the past few weeks…and there’s only so much elliptical I can take.

{SIDE NOTE: It’s weird, I actually do like the treadmill and never call it the ‘dreadmill’ – but I do have a love/hate thang with the elliptical.  Since I used it 3X this week, I mixed it up – switched between using the arms to push/pull, or hands on the heart rate bar things or no hands – instead holding them up like I do when I run.}

Anywho, back to Jillian.

I did Day One today and it was a good workout!  I am not sure when I might progress to Level 2 — don’t want to jump the gun too much, but I have to say that I was proud that Level 1 didn’t present much of a challenge to me…though it’d be quite the opposite if I tried this a year ago!  Oh how times change.

Have you ever tried the 30 Day Shred?  Would you recommend any other of her DVDs?
