Training Update.

I logged 20 miles this week in Marathon Training – two short of what was suggested, but I am not stressing.

I am also excited to announce that I’ve taken the plunge and plunked down the cash for Bikram Yoga Charlottesville’s Summer Special and will be using those workouts in supplement to running.

In other news, this weekend I picked up Tina’s (of Carrots ‘N’ Cake fame) book of the same name.

I have to say, I really did enjoy this book.  Yes, as in, I bought it yesterday – and finished it today.  It was a light, easy read that sprinkled life experiences with fun recipes and personal sidenotes.  It was also surreal to read mention of Kath essentially as a ‘character’ in Tina’s book – very neat! 🙂

Despite its easygoing feel, however, there was one section that made me contemplate several aspects of my life and attitude.  Without revealing too much (I hate being a spoiler!) let’s just say, I am glad that Tina had her moment and is on her path to happiness, and for that, I strive to follow in her footsteps.

But like I said above, read read read this book.
