Cruisin’ down memory lane

Lo Siento for the lack of a Monday post! I guess I should follow my own advice about not moping around, waiting for my next Disney vacation and get some content up around here, eh? Well, how about killing two birds with one stone, and sharing a few Disney photos that I’ve collected over the years?

First trip back down memory lane…Spring Break 2009…

3-Nights on the Disney Wonder

The Sister Cruise, 2009.

In March 2009, my sister and I embarked on an epic cruise adventure. As timing would work out, I had just taken a cruise the month before (hubs proposed on that cruise!!) so it was totally awesome to be back on the high seas again – the servers remembered me too – they asked me where I worked (they knew I was a CM at that time) – because they wanted whatever job I had that allowed me to go on multiple Disney cruises! Oh the perks of working for the Mouse…

Just chilling with Pluto on the top deck, NBD.

Oh, and if you were wondering, YES, I did wear that ridiculous straw cowboy hat about 98 percent of the time I was on the Disney Wonder…you think I am joking, don’t you…?

Our ‘Welcome Aboard’ pic.

Anyway, enough about the hat. This particular cruise itinerary was one I had sailed several times in the past – 3 night – from Port Canaveral to Nassau, Bahamas, to Castaway Cay and back. It’s VERY short but VERY full on fun – especially when you’re with someone super fun like my lil sis πŸ™‚

…just bust a move!

Can you tell that she’d one day be a certified Zumba instructor? Yeah, I bet you can. Can you tell who would never ever ever ever learn how to move in a rhythmic pattern?!

Look no further…

…oh boy.

So, if it looks like we had nothing but good times in 4 days and 3 nights…

Met the Cruise Director.
Played some rousing rounds of Jenga!
Learned how to draw Mickey.
…and had the best serving team ever!

…you are correct-a-mundo.

The Disney Cruise Line has proven time and time again to be one of our family’s FAVORITE ways to vacation! Reminiscing those adventures through these images definitely has me itching for my next cruise adventure (especially after listening to THIS podcast yesterday!) but in the meantime, I’m just happy to have experienced it, especially with that crazy-cool sister of mine, who TURNS TWENTY-FOUR YEARS OLD TODAY!

She’s a SUPA STAR! πŸ˜€

Happy Birthday, Lil Sista! You might feel old today, but as I told ya…don’t worry, I’ll always be EVEN older πŸ˜‰

Where’s your favorite vacation destination?

    • I definitely want to visit PR one day! It must have been beautiful! Just thinking about the caribbean now makes me want to go NOW, heh πŸ™‚
