One of the funny things about writing a blog is that sometimes, you wonder just how much information you should share with the world…are you over-sharing? Sounding like a braggart? Or is it just the perfect vehicle to share relevant life updates with a broad audience?
Based on the responses from my recent post about our Moving Announcement, I feel that of those above options, it’s definitely the latter! Through the years, from college in WA, to working and living in Orlando, our relocation to VA and everything in between, I’ve met so many amazing people, both “in real life” and through the Internet – so what better venue to share news?
Since the initial announcement post was more about events/decisions that led to the move, I’ve received a few questions through email, twitter and the comments that center around what I call the “W Theme” – who, what, why, when where…so this post is to address a few of those things…at least, to the best of my ability, now 😉
WHO – me and hubs, of course…and our lease allows pets, so HOPEFULLY a furry friend will join us in the future.
WHAT – a move from VA to FL – change of pace, change of lifestyle! I will be taking the time to complete my Master’s program from FSU, do volunteer work and concentrate on my training plan for Space Coast Marathon – and other fun running related stuff 🙂
WHERE – Sarasota is located on the west coast of Florida, about an hour south of Tampa and (the important part 😉 ) two hours from Walt Disney World.
WHEN – we’re packing up the moving van and starting the drive down this Saturday, July 13.
WHY – long story short: hubs works from home – we were in FL a few months ago as he was doing a few interviews for other jobs – one of the interviews took him to Sarasota. Neither of us had ever been there, though we had lived in Orlando, previously (through 2010). He loved it, we ended up going on a second trip to FL to visit, found a place to lease and decided it was time to move!
…so that’s about all I have figured out now, but I’m sure there will be more soon! Hope you all have a great week, and likely, the next post I share will be from Florida!
