Skirting the Issue.

While many in the 48 contiguous United Stated consider fall to be the closing of racing season, down here in the Sunshine State, the fun has just begun!

As mentioned previously, I have a pretty exciting and FULL race schedule coming up, with a great mix of challenges, fun and a variety of distances. One thing that they all have in common, however, is careful coordination of a FUNctional running outfit and/or costume – one of my favorite parts about racing!

As I was thinking about the next few races I have, I started brainstorming the different components, including the ability to reuse certain pieces I already own (a rainbow of Sparkle Athletic) as well as tech tops, socks and shorts, along with the little accessories that I might need to procure or purchase.

The image above is actually a visual representation of my next five races – and I am so excited for each one. I had a few guesses on Instagram as to which skirt will go to which race, but so far, there’s only been one correct match! Which one, of course, only time will tell.

  1. I’ve only dressed up for runDisney races and a couple of “fun run” 5ks. I didn’t even wear a sparkle skirt yesterday for the marathon – the first time I’ve left one home for a major race. It was nice not to have to deal with one more layer of clothing but I missed the sparkle, too.

Mais quand meme, c’est frustrant pour les analystes informatiques, pas besoin de méthode Merise et tout… Finalement la maison Poulaga c’est surtout profondément ennuyeux…

  2. I’ve got to say I’ve never dressed up for a race, especially in a skirt. Just, no. My guesses: red: WnD half, white: BDR Cape Coral, green: Space Coast marathon, brown: Jingle Jungle 5k, orange: Boo Run 5k. Look forward to seeing you at most of these!
