The “Pass on PSL” Campaign (to benefit 26.2 with DONNA)

I was waiting to release this post until September 4 (supposedly the limited market release date), but I have heard of a few leaks, so here we go…

Whether you love it or hate it, the season of PUMPKIN SPICE is an inevitable mainstay each fall in America! With everything from desserts, to candles, to candies, and of course, the ubiquitous PSL (Pumpkin Spice Latte), the onslaught of #allthingspumpkin will soon be upon us….so I thought, how could I harness that MANIA into something good?

Well, truth be told, I am one of those people who loves that sugary magic, but there IS something I love even more, and that is spreading the message and raising funds for 26.2 with DONNA and so I knew I had to come up with some way to combine the two…and came up with this…the “Pass on PSL” campaign!

Now, this incentive does NOT mean you can’t drink a hot, iced or blended tall, grande or venti treat this fall, but it DOES mean that you are invited to join me in PASSING on the cost of at least one of these drinks this season, and donating the money you would have spent (because, let’s admit it, these drinks are tasty but just a bit overpriced).

…but that’s not even the best part! Let me explain the “incentive” part!

I want to reward you for not only helping us raise funds, but also, for your resolve – so after you make your donation (and record your participation on this handy dandy form) you will be entered into a drawing for a $10 Starbucks gift card! Yes! By skipping one drink, and helping US finish breast cancer, you’ll have a chance to not only have a drink in October, but to even pay it forward and take a friend out, too!

Everyone has a different budget, so it doesn’t matter if you donate the cost of a tall or a trenta – every donation counts! And every share of this post is extremely appreciated (via Facebook, twitter, or instagram) so please feel free to spread the “Pass on PSL” love – I am excited to see what we can do in September!

What’s your favorite pumpkin treat?
