Marching Along: Week 29/30

week30How far along? 30W5D
Total weight gain/loss: 16 lbs

Maternity clothes? Yes, definitely.
Sleep: is getting more challenging, and it’s really sporadic. I can sleep 3 hours one night, then almost 8 the next…then 2…you get the picture.
Best moment this week: Sleeping 9 hours last weekend.

Movement: Gymnastics. Karate…she’s active!!
Food cravings: still Orange juice, fizzy water (I bought new bottles for the soda stream – no flavor, just water)
Anything making you queasy or sick: Smell/appearance/anything related to Ketchup or pickles.
Leakage: Nope.

Belly Button in or out? Still in.
Wedding rings on or off? Still on.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy. But sleepy!!!
Weekly Wisdom: Sleep now.
Milestones: Becoming tired/out of breath doing anything – includes: tying shoes, walking too fast, bending over, cooking, vacuuming, taking a shower, picking up dog toys, clearing dishwasher, loading dishwasher…you get the point.

I thought I’d start with the survey first this week, as I am a little behind on updates! It’s been busy at work, and I have a checklist a mile long for baby-related things – and I know it sounds cliche, but time is really going quickly now and my excitement mixes with a degree of nervousness with each day!

Over the past two weeks, I’ve been researching pediatricians, checking out pre-registration to the hospital, and updating the baby registry. I’ve also starting working on plans for Cosmo and Dug – and we put up the pictures/decorations in the baby’s room.

The baby name list has been narrowed down significantly as well…though I am still not telling! 😉

Otherwise, things are still going well, and I am doing what I can to get as much sleep as possible. I have decided to officially stop running, as of Week 30, and have converted to longer walks since the weather is just not breaking much in terms of humidity. As mentioned in the survey above, I get really exhausted just walking quickly and figured it’s not worth the extra huffing and puffing!

Right now, I am looking forward to Week 33! Both my sister, Jenni and my gal Theresa will be flying in and we’ll be spending a long weekend at Disney to celebrate T’s birthday, the #WineDineHalf (J’s first Disney 13.1), and more! I just need to keep marching along…

  1. You look great!! The sleep thing was always sporadic for me too. But the dreams – when I did sleep – were really vivid. That’s a fun pregnancy symptom.
