GIVEAWAY: Wanna Go to MommyCon?

Giveaway closed! Congrats to: Jennifer Vijeh!Screen Shot 2017-08-02 at 7.37.27 AM

In just over a month, MommyCon is returning to Orlando! If you are a mommy (or daddy, or aunt, uncle, grandparent or other care provider) it is, in my opinion – the PREMIERE event for all things baby and kids. From incredible speakers, to an awesome line up of vendors, and extra little perks sprinkled throughout, it’s an experience I would recommend to any of my parent friends.

Orlando Program 2017

I had so much fun at LAST YEAR’S EVENTΒ – and I was really looking forward to attending again this year, but unfortunately, we’ll be headed out of town that weekend so we’ll miss it! While I am bummed about it, it’s not all gloomy – because fear not, my dear reader – as a member of theΒ Mommycon Blogger Collective, I have one free entry (general admission – $45 value) to give away today!

Also – if you are not local to Orlando, do not fret! This admission may be applied to any of the events in the MommyCon series in 2017,Β so enter today if this sounds like something you’d like to check out!

This giveaway will be open today, July 27, through Tuesday, August 1! To enter, all you have to do is comment on this post about what session in the Orlando schedule, above, is most interesting/relevant to you, and why πŸ™‚

I will use a random number generator to choose a winner on Wednesday August 2, so be sure to check back then to see if you won!*

Good luck!

*if you are not chosen, you can still save money on your admission ($5) by using promo code: SHIAWASELIFE17 at checkout!

  1. I am interested in the stay at home parent, traumatic threes and I see a couple others that would be very beneficial to our day to day life. I enjoyed the sessions last year but hoping to get more out of them this year with better planning.

  2. Terrible twos and traumatic threes. I have a son who just turned two and would love to learn more!

  3. This will be my first time going. I’m so excited and the schedule lineup seems GREAT. I’m most excited for: “so much more than sensory” (I’m hoping to learn some new sensory activities for my little guy and very excited for the sensory table 😁), next I’m wanting to go to “redefining motherhood” (I need to learn to take time for myself and be more mindful and conscious”, after lunch the “becoming a potty training maverick” is a session I’m especially looking forward to. I need some help, support, ideas, and direction to help me help my son with potty training. Also “miss Jordan’s music time, mommy and me class” sounds like a blast!!! “My husband, my partner” is a class I feel I NEED. I want to learn more tools to having a healthy partnership with my husband and example to our kids. He is fantastic and I think we are doing good, but I think there is a lot we can learn from this session. Then “terrible twos and traumatic threes” is going to help me a lot. I’m going prepared to take some serious notes. I myself need healthier eating habits and certainly need more tools to teach them to my kids. My picky toddler will hopefully benefit from me going to and picking up some healthy food/meal ideas from this class. I am excited to see the vendors and their products and am ready to learn and implement new ideas into our lives. I will be sticking around for the end of the day giveaway too. I’m hoping some deserving parents will be lucky and win some great prizes (keeping my fingers crossed for myself too πŸ˜‰ lol). I’m so excited for this event and have been putting a couple bucks back here and there to save for tickets and to purchase some new goodies while I’m there. Still trying to figure out if I can get someone to go with me and if I am going to bring my kids, but I’m stoked to be there, even if I have to go alone. Thanks for the opportunity! πŸ˜πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜€

  4. I really want to go to Cloth Diapering 101! I’ve been using cloth with my four month old since birth but I need tips!

  5. I’m most excited about the sleep training session for babies and I’m also interested in the parenting/marriage session

  6. Celebrating failure with our children for sure. I feel like it’ll be so helpful to learn coping methods

  7. I am most interested in the potty training, we had a hard time potty training our other children so I am hoping to learn to tips and tricks to make it easier for our next toddler who is approaching potty training age!

  8. “I’m a stay at home parent”, “Redefining motherhood” and “Lets grow your passion” sound very interesting, i’m excited to see what direction they go in! However, I can’t help but be most enthusiastic about gardening with kids. Health is wealth and is overall a much neglected area of study especially for our children. By the time my little Luna is five years old I aim to have taught her the growing processes for different foods and herbs alike, as well as be completely self sufficient in that aspect. “Raising multi-racial children” should be a refreshing class as well. It will be good to sit with like minded people on such a heavy topic that has been strategically designed and perpetuated. Super exciting all around!!

  9. Terrible twos and traumatic threes. I have a 24 month old and an 8 month old. This class will be super beneficial for me!

  10. I am most excited for terrible twos/traumatic threes! My son is 2 and we’ve hit that dreaded time and would love to get some advice and tips on how to cope!

I already have a media ticket so this ticket would be for my hubby πŸ™‚

  11. So much more than sensory! I have been incredibly interested in learning about sensory with my toddler and what it entails.

  12. I am completely looking forward to the Stay At Home Parent session! I was tossed into stay at home life about six months ago with a three and four year old – and now expecting a third! I’d love to touch base with other parents, help redefine my new normality and learn just how others keep up with this crazy balancing act.

  13. Im interested in the whats in your childrens medicine? How organic and non gmos are moving from food to medicine πŸ™‚ My husband and i are very into natural medicine and eating pure wholesome food, so i would be very excited to learn more!

  14. The sleep consult for kids 24+ months would be a great session for me. With school and activities going on, it’s hard for us to keep a schedule and get the kids to stick with going to sleep on time and stay in their room!
